In short: children never create accounts and we collect nothing about them. A parent signs in only to keep a purchase. No ads, no trackers, and we never sell data.

What we collect, and why

Parent account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, your name and an account id from Google (through Firebase Authentication). We use them only to keep your purchase and let you use it on other computers.
Purchases. Payments are handled by Paddle. We receive the order id, amount, currency, country and any discount code, never your card details.
Anonymous usage counts. To learn which adventures families enjoy, the game sends short events such as "a story started" with a random id kept in your browser and the country your connection comes from. They contain no names, no IP addresses and nothing a child typed.
Settings on your device. Player names, language and game settings are stored only in your browser and never leave your computer.

Children

Bedtime Atlas is made for children to play with their families. Children do not sign up, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Player names typed into the game stay on your device. If you believe a child's information reached us, write to us and we will delete it.

Who helps us

Cloudflare hosts the website and our small database.
Google Firebase provides the "Sign in with Google" button.
Paddle is our reseller and Merchant of Record: it processes payments, taxes, invoices and refunds under its own privacy policy.

We have no advertising partners and use no third-party tracking or marketing cookies.

Cookies and browser storage

We set no cookies. The game keeps your settings and sign-in in your browser's storage. Paddle's checkout window may use its own cookies while you pay.

How long we keep data

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and as long as tax law requires. Anonymous usage counts are kept for up to 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data at any time by writing to . Deleting your account removes access to the full version on that account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and say so on the website.
